Crash Reports
Usually if you get a crash report it just means that something somewhere goofed up. This isn't always a bad thing. If you chose to send the report for the problem Ubuntu will get it. If you think you are actually experiencing problems such as programs crashing or not starting properly then please let us know here.

Dependency Issues / Program installation issues.
If your computer won't install a program because it's missing something ask us where to get it and we will tell you. Most likely you can just Google the package and get it from another website.

My Computer Says I Have A Virus!
Although Linux is not affected by viruses (unless you follow special instructions on the Internet on how to install a virus) web browsers like Mozilla Firefox and E-mail clients like Mozilla Thunderbird may be affected by viruses. If you have popups that tell you that you have a virus ignore them.
If in Firefox click Tools > Clear Recent History > (Time range to clear) Everything > (Details) check every box > Clear Now. Click your Start / Go button > System (not system tools) > Administration > System Monitor > Processes > Right click on "firefox" and kill it.
Open Firefox and see if you still have the popups. If so repeat.
WARNING! The following will erase all your e-mail and e-mail settings as well as contacts.
With Mozilla Thunderbird if you have this problem you will need to delete your .mozilla-thunderbird directory under /home/(your user name)/ you may have to enable showing hidden files under view.
